This afternoon, we celebrated an exciting milestone as we recognized the graduates of the 7th cohort of our Financial Readiness Access to Capital Program—previously known as the Business Accounting & Legal Assistance Grant Program!
Over the course of six weeks, these dedicated entrepreneurs participated in six comprehensive sessions designed to strengthen their business knowledge and set them up for long-term success. From accounting, legal fundamentals, marketing, and tax preparation to financial reporting, insurance, and business planning, participants gained practical tools and resources to help their businesses thrive.
As program graduates, each entrepreneur leaves with an updated business plan, a $5,000 grant to support accounting and legal professional services, and the opportunity to present their business to a panel of potential funders—an invaluable experience in preparing for future growth and investment.
