Mental Health Doesn't Wait for a Convenient Time. Neither Should Help. 💙

This week's BNI Premiere Business Builders meeting was a reminder that some of the best referrals aren't about products, they're about people.

Jim Antal of Axess Family Services walked our table through what's available right here in the Mahoning Valley. Axess Family Services was formed when Axess Pointe Community Health Centers and Family & Community Services came together with one mission: opening pathways to wellbeing by connecting communities to health and supportive services.

That looks different depending on who needs it:

👶 Kids & teens: individual and group counseling, parenting and skill-building groups, school-based services, and crisis intervention when families need it most

👨‍👩‍👧 Adults & families: counseling, case management, psychiatry and medication management, and substance use treatment including MAT

💊 Everyone: primary care, pharmacy, and lab services, with a sliding fee scale, they don't turn anyone away

There's a door open for anyone in this community who needs it.

Celebrating 3 years with Valley Partners, Tanay is passionate about being a resource for entrepreneurs and small businesses. As part of our Business Resource Department, she provides clients with the confidence, tools, and technical assistance they need to start and scale their businesses. 💙

What does she love most about her work? Seeing clients get the funding they need to move forward — especially when they’ve been turned down before or weren’t sure their goals were possible. 🙌

One of Tanay’s proudest moments came when a client called to share that July had been his busiest month in sales since acquiring his business. But what meant even more was hearing him say that he considered Tanay a mentor. For Tanay, that’s what life is all about: giving back and being of help to others. ❤️
