Destination Starfish Through advocacy, resources, and community engagement, we work to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to thrive within their community.

Destination Starfish was founded to enrich the lives for people with developmental disabilities by increasing access and opportunities in the community, avoiding institutionalization. Our Mission: Destination Starfish is committed to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities by fostering integration, increasing access to community opportunities, and providing the support needed to live fulfilling lives outside of institutional settings. Our Vision: A world where individuals with developmental disabilities are fully included in their communities, empowered with the support and opportunities they need to thrive independently, and never face the barriers of institutionalization. Destination Starfish envisions a society where every person, regardless of ability, has access to meaningful relationships, fulfilling work, and a vibrant community that embraces personal fulfillment.
