MESOPOTAMIA
We had some recent interest in settlers of Mesopotamia in the Trumbull County Genealogical Society Group. Thanks to Barbara Layfield (volunteer) and Elizabeth Glasgow (WTCPL), I have a copy of the all-name index for "Mesopotamia: Between Two Rivers" by Hazel V. Clark. Thanks to the Bristol Public Library, I was able to borrow the book itself from the Kinsman Free Public Library.

I'll do lookups for you!

The monthly meeting of the Trumbull County Genealogical Society will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 10:15 a.m. at Warren’s SCOPE Center, 375 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio.

Many Trumbull County residents are familiar with Howland’s “Yellow House” – the oldest home in the township, dating back to the 1830’s – and its recent move to a new location to make room for ODOT’s redevelopment at the Ohio 82-46 junction. At our meeting, Howland Historical Society officer Cindee Mines will take us through the steps of the move, which will include a video of the Brown Mackey home arriving at its final destination on the former Brown Mackey farm.

All meetings are free for all ages and open to the public.
