We are so excited to have hosted our first Golden Getaway with the Cranston YMCA Active Older Adult Community!

We started with their annual yoga retreat, and then 11 members stayed overnight at Camp and took part in swimming on the waterfront, a boat cruise around Pt Judith Pond to learn about the local ecology, a campfire with s’mores/singing/ghost stories, and finishing this morning with more camp activities like archery and boating!

We look forward to this being a new yearly tradition here at camp!

When your new Program Director demonstrates that he is a National Treasure during Family Camp. Rain doesn't keep us inside all day! PUDDLE JUMPING!!!!!! Great work Troy!!!

Raining during Family Camp….No Problem! We got candle making, we got water colors, we got sticker making contests, we got pitch, we got legos!

And what’s coming….Mess Hall Hockey, an Apple Olympics, and tonight….indoor Council Fire!!!

And most importantly, families connecting with each other at camp!

What a week we have had at Camp. On Monday to Tuesday, we hosted the Providence College Friars Club. On Tuesday Morning, we participated in the Y Heroes celebration for the YMCA of Greater Providence. On Wednesday, we hosted Senior Field Day. Friday through Sunday, we hosted the YMCA Northeast Leaders School Staff Training Weekend. Saturday, we had volunteers from the Central Congregational Church, who painted the inside of the Sherman / Jungle Palace.

So many great things happening and great people spending time at Camp Fuller this past week!

One more thing happened this week to be excited for summer.....but we will share that a little later!!!!!!

We have some new additions to the Mess Hall! We have upgraded the coffee and tea station, a new daily menu board to layout. What each meal during the day will be, and an allergy board to ensure allergy information is being clearly communicated!
