Are you a graduating senior who identifies as LGBTQ+? We see you, we celebrate you, and we want to invest in your future. 💛

Applications are NOW OPEN for the South County Pride Foundation’s LGBTQ Young Adult Scholarship — created specifically to support bold, brave students from our local South County high schools as they take their next big step.

Whether you’re heading to a 4-year university, community college, or trade school, or to take a break from school to follow a passion — your dreams are valid and your story matters. 🎓

Thats a wrap folks! South County Pride 2k25 was not only a success, but a triumph.

Our small board cherishes every opportunity to serve our community, to bring smiles to new faces and reconnect with familiar ones, and to provide support to those who need it most.

We want to immensely thank everyone who supported us this year, including for letting us use their beautiful space, the for sponsoring us year after year, and for being our pride and joy of an emcee (whose speeches brought us to tears for yet another year).

And thank YOU, our dear friends, for doing what’s right. For standing up to injustice. For being fearlessly yourself no matter the cost- because thats what pride is about. Pride is a protest initially fought by Black trans women, and we’ll continue to work every day to make them proud of where we’ve come. Fight for freedom for all.

So here’s to us. To our community. To Pride 🏳️‍🌈🥂

With Pride being 2 days away, we are proud to announce the official South County Pride schedule and map! In the morning, we start out the day with some tunes from from 11am-11:30am. Then from 11:30am-12pm the Pride parade starts! After the parade, the party barely starts with opening remarks from our staff who put this wonderful event together ❤️. Afterwards, we go back to some tunes from until 1pm where the .ri take the stage! Alternatively, you can head over to main Street Green and watch the wonderful Amy The Mime! At 2 p.m., we have some quorus at the CTC stage, .band At the Main Street Green, and a drag story hour at the Sari's Sanctuary. Afterward at 3pm, , also known as midnight honey , takes the stage at the CTC while the wonderful ile. At 4:30 p.m., until 6 p.m., the drag show by and the raffle drawing will take place!

We are so excited to have this event finally be here and we hope you all are too! Thank you all for supporting us and helping make this happen!

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! Pride is on its way and you can still sign up to be a volunteer and help out your community! By helping out with pride you can get volunteer hours, learn how to put on a pride parade, and get a free south county pride T-shirt! There will be an online training session on June 7th at 11am that will be sent out to those who sign up using the link in our bio. We hope to see you there!

This year at South County Pride, we will hold a raffle featuring local businesses where participants can win prizes! Prizes include but are not limited to: a 1 night stay with breakfast for two, a $25 gift card and hat from , 4 tickets to any mainstage show with 2 drinks, or 2 gift certificates for 2 mainstage shows provided by , a two week pass for unlimited yoga and member perks for , a $25 gift card and merch for , and other prizes!
Raffle tickets will be sold in person on the day of Pride - $2 for 1, $15 for 10, and $20 for 20. Winners will be selected at 5:30pm June 14th. If you want to win some awesome prizes from local businesses, show up and get some tickets! We hope to see you there!

South County Prides festival 2025 is a go! From 11am-7pm at 327 Main Street, Wakefield, rhode island. There will be Vendors, Music, families, and best of all Fun!

At 11:30am the parade will start with DJs and then Qorus until 12pm. Which then we will give our opening remarks followed by qorus until 1pm. After it's all fun events such as live music provided by Amy the Mime until 2pm which will transition into drag story time until 3pm. After there will be more live music provided by .band until 4pm. After scholarships will be handed out to those who signed up and qualified for scholarships. Then to end it off we will do a drag raffle from 4:30-6:30pm.
