CIT RI Crisis Intervention Team, Rhode Island CIT-RI started in 2019 in Washington County, and now operates throughout Rhode Island.

The Crisis Intervention Team Training (CIT) program is a community partnership that includes members of law enforcement, mental health and substance use disorder professionals, people who live with mental illness and/or substance use disorder, their families, and other people dedicated to improving the community responses to mental health crises.
