This summer, Sponsors of the Future (SoF), a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating strong connections between local communities and businesses to create a more significant impact in neurodivergent communities, is hosting its 2nd Career & Entrepreneurship Skills camp, designed to help ALL adolescents prepare for the working world, discover their passions, and prepare them with the essential tools for success! Hosted at the East Greenwich Academy Science Center and Varnum House Museum yard in EG, RI, the camp will feature successful guest speakers and provide hands-on experiences for kids to learn and practice skills such as resume-building, interviewing, presenting, and collaborating.

At the end of the camp, SoF will be hosting a townwide Celebration Event at Ye Old Bleubell Cottage and Garden Shop, highlighting the skills and talents of young entrepreneurs, including the neurodiverse community. Local businesses and community members are invited to come support local RI youth at Sponsors of the Future’s 1st Summer Showcase, and join the celebration for live music, games, food, arts & crafts, and more! Hosted at Bleubell Cottage & Garden, the town-wide event will celebrate local entrepreneurial spirit and the accomplishments of local youth from SoF’s Career & Entrepreneurship camp. The showcase aims to cultivate inclusion around neurodiversity and foster community spirit, while highlighting the skills and talents of young entrepreneurs with diverse abilities and skills.
