Our October 7 water testing results are in!

🔴 Kaupuni Stream — 10,112 HIGH
🔴 Ulehawa Canal — 723 HIGH
🟡 Piliāʻau — 63 MEDIUM
🟢 Pōkaʻī Bay (Bayside) — 10 LOW

During sampling, we also observed debris, plastics, discolored water, and other concerning conditions.

Mahalo to all the Target guests who cast 35,021 votes for Kingdom Pathways 🤎❤️

Because of your support, we received $2,922.27 through Target Circle to help us continue the work we do in our community.

From protecting our coastlines and restoring our ʻāina to environmental monitoring, education, and advocating for our community, hosting meetings, every bit of support helps us keep moving forward.

We’re a small organization doing a lot of work, and support like this really makes a difference. We couldn’t do what we do without the people who believe in our mission and the work we’re putting in.

What’s happening in our own backyard?

UH nursing students, HPU environmental program students, and community members joined Kingdom Pathways at Ulehawa to collect drinking water and soil samples.

Together, we’re building baseline data to better understand potential landfill exposures and what they could mean for our ʻāina, environment, and community health.

This is community science in action students and community working side by side, collecting data and building the ʻike we need to advocate for our community.

This is also where your donations go. Your support helps us purchase testing kits, collect samples, gather community data, and keep this work moving right here in Waiʻanae.

Follow the work. Volunteer with us. Support the work if you can. Every kōkua helps us keep showing up for our community.

People always ask us, “What exactly does Kingdom Pathways do?”

Sometimes that’s hard to answer because our work doesn’t fit neatly into one box.

We answer the kahea.

When our community calls and there’s a need, we figure out how we can help. If we know how, we step in. If we don’t, we learn. And when someone else has the knowledge or resources, we bring them to the table and work together.

That can take us into environmental health, ʻāina restoration, water quality, coastal resilience, cultural preservation, infrastructure, education, advocacy, and more.

For us, it’s not about staying in one lane. It’s about connecting the right people, ʻike, resources, and opportunities to move our community forward.

If the work strengthens our community, protects our ʻāina and people, and creates a better pathway for the generations coming behind us we’re there.

That is Kingdom Pathways.

We hear the kahea. We find a pathway. We move together.

Kingdom Pathways, in partnership with the Hawaiʻi Coastal Zone Management (CZM) Program, will be presenting on the Pili Nā Moku Coastal Mapping Project.

A weekend full of moments that reminded me to slow down, be present, and give thanks for the people, the lessons, the laughter, and even the challenges.

Moving into a new week carrying these words with me:

“Let mercy guide me, truth ground me, and peace be my portion.”

Grateful for where I’ve been, grounded in where I am, and trusting where Ke Akua is leading me.
