Today we hosted the first of many food distributions following Tropical Storm Lala.

We distributed over 21,000 pounds of food and 1,000 meals to the community at Waiʻanae Boat Harbor. We also passed out industrial garbage bags, tarps, and blankets.

Mahalo to Hawai‘i Foodbank, Darius K. Kila, Rep Chris Muraoka, Hawaii Foodservice Alliance, Chef Hui HI, Lanakila Meals, Lowe's Home Improvement, City and County of Honolulu, and Hawaii DLNR (Department of Land and Natural Resources) who helped make today possible. And, of course, a big mahalo to all the amazing donors and community volunteers!

Our next community distribution will be this Friday, Aug. 21 at Nānākuli High & Intermediate. Stay tuned for the registration link!
