August 29th, we’re bringing Beyond the Label Day: Back-to-School Edition right back to our folks — and we’re looking forward to another day of good energy, real resources, great connections, CULTURE and COMMUNITY. 💯
Free food. Groceries. Haircuts. School supplies & giveaways. Games. Prizes. Live dancing. Community resources — and our Beyond the Label Youth Graduation Showcase, where our young people will hit the runway displaying the wearable art and original streetwear designs they created themselves. 👑
Because our culture is art too. Streetwear is art. Fashion is art. Design is art. And giving young people healthy ways to express themselves, create something that represents them, and be celebrated for it is part of changing the narrative.
This one means something to us because Campostella is home. These are communities we know, people we love, relationships we’ve built, and an area that has been part of the Changing Narratives Now story from the beginning.
Seeing the businesses, organizations, community partners, volunteers and people from the neighborhood continue to lock arms with us is exactly what this is about. Everybody brings something to the table, and the whole community gets stronger.
