Marines helping Marines!

10/25/2026

To all my fellow Marines. I am so sorry that I cannot pull off a Marine Birthday bask this year on the mountain. Possibly we can find a place for a small but meaningful cake cutting gathering. Will keep you posted in the next few days. We do have a fellow Marine, Brandon Brown receiving a Quilt of Valor on Veterans Day at Lake Arrowhead.

Join us on September 12 11 to 3 pm for our flag raising ceremony. Veterans moved into Orenda house two years ago. The site does not have a flag and the residents, board and staff thought it would be a good idea to invite the community the first day we raise our flag on our new flag pole and garden area. It's a work in progress. Please join us for an All American BBQ afterwards. RSVP on our website. We are also selling bricks to honor the area.

Memorial Day – Honoring Our Fallen Heroes

Today, the Victorville Marine Corps League pauses to honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Memorial Day is a solemn reminder that freedom is never free. We owe an immeasurable debt of gratitude to those who courageously answered the call to defend our country and never returned home.

As Marines, Veterans, family members, and proud Americans, we stand united in remembrance of our fallen brothers and sisters. Their courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to duty will never be forgotten.

We encourage our community to take a moment today to reflect, remember, and honor those who gave everything for the freedoms we cherish.

“Some people live an entire lifetime and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the world. A Veteran does not have that problem.” - In memory of...

Semper Fidelis. ❤️💛
