The CHAN leadership team just completed certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid, CPR, and AED through the American Red Cross. We're also officially trained as Community Emergency Response Team members.

That's not a piece of paper. That's a commitment.

The High Desert is no stranger to emergencies. Wildfires. Triple-digit heat. Power outages that last days. Accidents on the I-15. The hard truth is that when those things happen, help isn't always five minutes away. Sometimes the people who save lives are the neighbors who showed up trained.

We don't ever want to be the organization that says "call somebody else." We want to be the people who can actually help in the moment, while help is on the way.

This is part of how we serve you. Not just programs and resources. Real readiness for the real things that happen here.
