It’s Teacher Appreciation Week, and we’re feeling incredibly grateful for the amazing educators on our campus ❤️

Every day, they inspire our Rams, build meaningful connections, and go above and beyond to prepare students not just for the classroom, but for life as confident, capable professionals.

And their impact doesn’t stop there. So many of our faculty give back in powerful ways by creating scholarships, supporting our scholarship initiatives, and writing thoughtful letters of recommendation that help open doors for our students.

Our hearts are full as we reflect on the incredible 50th Anniversary Nursing Alumni Reunion ❤

On Saturday, we had the honor of celebrating alongside so many beloved healthcare heroes, sharing stories and reflecting on 50 years of VVC Nursing. The room was filled with laughter, memories, and those unforgettable “you had to be there” moments from nursing school—challenging, meaningful, and truly special.

Community colleges like VVC play a vital role in shaping the future of healthcare—opening doors, strengthening communities, and preparing skilled, compassionate nurses who serve on the front lines every day. We are proud to have played a part in that journey, helping develop professionals who continue to make a lasting impact.

The VVC Foundation remains committed to supporting the next generation of nurses through scholarships, grants, and opportunities—cheering them on as they grow into leaders within our communities.

There’s a lot we could say about Thrive to Drive and RAM RUSH… but one word says it best: WOW.

Rams, you showed up all year long. You stayed enrolled, got involved, used the MyVVC app, supported athletics, explored the arts, and made the most of what campus has to offer. That energy led to something special.

Last Saturday, the VVC Foundation was proud to bring it all together at RAM RUSH — awarding over $10,000 in prizes, $3,000 in cash, and, with the incredible support of Victorville Motors, a brand new RAM truck.

Seeing the crowd rally behind Kyle as he drove away in that truck? That’s a moment we won’t forget anytime soon.

To our students: this was your moment, and you earned it.

We’re stoked—and we hope you are too. We’ve been seeing you show up and scan in all year long—at Engagement Centers, wrestling matches, in the stadium, and so many other events.

Now… it’s almost time. We can’t wait to give away that brand new truck. 👀

We received more submissions than ever this year, and while that’s keeping us busy, we’re truly inspired by your stories and all the hard work behind each application.

We’re on track to complete scoring by the end of May and appreciate your continued patience in the meantime.

Rams, we’ve loved watching you show up for yourselves and your campus all year long — scanning in, getting involved, and making the most of every opportunity. 💛

Now it’s time to celebrate that journey together.

The VVC Foundation is so excited for RAM RUSH 2026 — the finale of Thrive to Drive. Join us at the stadium on April 25 from 10 AM–12 PM, with check-in starting at 9am, for an morning full of food, music, games, and giveaways, all designed with you in mind.

And yes… one of you will drive away in a brand new RAM 1500!

We hope you’ll come out, connect, and enjoy this moment. You’ve earned it.
