❤️ NOVEMBER IS MILITARY FAMILY APPRECIATION MONTH.

Starting Sunday, we turn the calendar to the month we set aside for the families behind the uniform.

The spouse holding everything together through another deployment.

The military child on their fourth school in six years, who learns faster than most kids twice their age.

The parent who answers the phone at 2 a.m. and simply says, "I'm here."

Their service member took the oath. They live it every day.

This November, we're honoring them, and we're inviting you to stand with us.

It's R.E.D. Friday. Remember Everyone Deployed.

Tonight, all over the world, someone is eating dinner far from home.

Someone is marking another day off a calendar taped to a bunker wall. Someone is setting an alarm for a time zone most of us will never need to think about. Someone is going to sleep missing the sound of their kids arguing in the other room.

Captain Gratitude stands with his hand over his heart tonight, because gratitude doesn't always need to be loud.

Sometimes it's just remembering. On purpose. On purpose, every Friday, until they're all home.

Wear red today if you'd like. But more than that: remember. A text to a spouse holding the fort. A coffee for a neighbor whose son or daughter is overseas. A moment of quiet at dinner.

Remember Everyone Deployed. Not just with a color. With a thought. With a prayer. With a promise.

Yesterday, 8 military families reached out to us.

Eight families looking for information, guidance, and opportunities to achieve their homeownership goals.

And I'm pleased to report that every one of those families was assigned to an Operation T.A.G. Community Ambassador for assistance.

These aren't just leads on a spreadsheet. They're real military families. Real people. Real opportunities to make a difference.

When Scott and I established Operation T.A.G., we wanted to do more than simply say, "Thank you for your service."

We wanted to turn gratitude into action.

Now we're asking licensed mortgage loan officers to answer the call.

THEIR SERVICE MAY HAVE CHANGED THEIR LIVES. BUT IT DIDN'T END THEIR POSSIBILITIES. ❤️

There's something incredibly moving about watching someone rediscover what they're capable of.

A veteran who thought they'd never ski again.

A former service member experiencing the freedom of cycling with adaptive equipment.

A veteran finding friendship, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose through sports.

That's why some recent news from the Department of Veterans Affairs deserves our attention.

🇺🇸 The VA has awarded $16 million to 91 community organizations nationwide to expand adaptive sports opportunities for veterans and service members with disabilities.

And right here in California, approximately $2.05 million is going to 10 organizations.

These programs offer opportunities to participate in activities such as cycling, skiing, archery, fishing, and wheelchair sports.

But this isn't just about sports.

It's about independence. Friendship. Confidence. And discovering that life still has wonderful chapters waiting to be written.

Our friend Captain Gratitude has a message:

"Your uniform may be hanging in the closet, but your story is far from over."
