This month, we join the global effort to raise awareness about uterine cancer, encourage early detection, and support those affected by this disease.

Uterine cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting the female reproductive system. While it can occur at any age, it is most often diagnosed in women after menopause. Recognizing the warning signs and seeking medical attention early can make a significant difference in treatment outcomes.

โš ๏ธ Know the signs:
โ€ข Abnormal vaginal bleeding, especially after menopause
โ€ข Unusual vaginal discharge
โ€ข Pelvic pain or pressure
โ€ข Pain during in*******se

๐Ÿ’™ Early detection saves lives. If you experience any unusual symptoms, speak with your healthcare provider promptly. Regular medical check-ups and being aware of changes in your body are important steps in protecting your health.

Throughout June, let us stand together to raise awareness, support survivors, honor those we have lost, and encourage women to prioritize their health.

May is Brain Cancer Awareness Month. Brain cancers represent 26% of all childhood cancers. They kill more children than other cancers. While the 5-year overall survival rate is 75%, some are as low as 2%. Children and adolescent brain cancer survivors experience significant life-long morbidity from treatment. They have a higher incidence of chronic health conditions including pulmonary fibrosis, cardiac dysfunction, endocrinopathies, neuropathies, and neurocognitive deficits.
Take this opportunity to bring children's brain cancer to the forefront during the entire month! "Go Gray in May!"

What Is Skin Cancer?
Skin cancer is the out-of-control growth of abnormal cells in the epidermis, the outermost skin layer, caused by unrepaired DNA damage that triggers mutations.
These mutations lead the skin cells to multiply rapidly and form malignant tumors.
The main types of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma (BCC), squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), melanoma and Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC).
Read on to find out what can cause skin cancer.

What Does Skin Cancer Look Like?
Skin cancers can look quite different from one person to another due to skin tone, size and type of skin cancer and location on the body. See our Skin Cancer Pictures page for a selection of photos to help you understand what skin cancers can look like. View pictures.

What Causes Cancers of the Skin?
The two main causes of skin cancer are the sunโ€™s harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays and using UV tanning beds. The good news is that if skin cancer is caught early, your dermatologist can treat it with little or no scarring and high odds of eliminating it entirely. Often, the doctor may even detect the growth at a precancerous stage, before it has become a full-blown skin cancer or penetrated below the surface of the skin.
