Seeking God’s Guidance in Church Planting

This afternoon, we had the privilege of interviewing four church planters. We are grateful for the opportunity to meet with them, hear their hearts, and learn more about their desire to serve the Lord.

As we prayerfully consider the next steps, we ask you to join us in praying that God will grant us wisdom, discernment, and clear direction in selecting the right church planters for this ministry.

May the Lord prepare faithful servants to proclaim His Word, strengthen His Church, and make disciples for His glory.

“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3

Please keep this process in your prayers as we seek to follow God’s leading.

Equipping Church Leaders in Bangladesh and Myanmar Through Biblical Training

We are grateful to God for the recent biblical training sessions held in Bangladesh and Myanmar

Bangladesh | Old Testament Survey
Pastor Ross, representing the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church (ARPC), led participants through the Pentateuch, from Genesis to Deuteronomy. The training welcomed 27 participants, including church planters serving through PCI.

Myanmar | The Book of Romans
PCA minister David led 24 participants in an in-depth study of Romans. This marked the fifth training session in Myanmar, reflecting the ongoing commitment to strengthening biblical and theological understanding among local church leaders.

Both trainings included translation into Bangla and Burmese, helping participants engage more deeply with God's Word in their own languages.

Participants in Myanmar also shared how studying Romans helped them understand the distinction between Jews and Gentiles, the salvation God has provided through Jesus Christ, and the importance of the Holy Spirit's guidance in living lives set apart from the ways of the world.

We are especially grateful for ARPC's ongoing commitment to theological training in the region, including the service of minister Joe, who has visited India more than five times to teach.

Thank God for safe travels, immigration clearance, and His presence throughout both training sessions.

Pray for future partnership opportunities with ARPC in Bangladesh and Nepal.

Pray that each participant will apply what they have learned in their personal lives, churches, and ministries.

May God continue to raise up faithful leaders, strengthen His Church, and advance the gospel throughout Bangladesh, Myanmar, and beyond!

Training Biblical Leaders in South Sudan

The work of strengthening the church begins with equipping faithful men to teach, lead, and serve according to God’s Word.

In South Sudan, Globe Works International Ministries is committed to encouraging and training biblical leaders who will faithfully shepherd their churches, disciple others, and strengthen the body of Christ for generations to come.

Please pray for these leaders, that they would grow in the knowledge of Scripture and remain steadfast in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Unbreakable Faith

There is something deeply important about teaching children the Scriptures from a young age. The truths they learn today can shape their understanding of God, guide their steps, and bear fruit throughout their lives.

As the Bible reminds us in Proverbs 22:6 to “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Children need more than temporary encouragement. They need the enduring truth of God's Word. They need Bibles they can read, Scripture they can learn, and sound Christian literature that will help them grow in their knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

This is why getting Bibles, biblical teaching materials, and other essential Christian literature into communities like these is so important. Every shipment represents an opportunity to place the truth of Scripture into young hands and help establish a foundation of faith for generations to come.

Will you pray with us for this work? Pray that these children would come to know the Lord through His Word, that faithful believers would teach them the Scriptures diligently, and that the necessary Bibles and Christian literature would reach those who need them.

May the next generation grow up knowing the Scriptures, trusting in Christ, and living for His glory.

“And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.” 2 Timothy 3:15

Faithful in Kenya | The Work of the Gospel

We are thankful for the faithful believers and ministry partners in Kenya who continue to serve their communities and stand firm in their commitment to Christ.

Through fellowship, discipleship, and the proclamation of God’s Word, we are reminded that the Lord is building His Church among every nation and people. Though the challenges may differ from place to place, the call remains the same: to live faithfully, proclaim the Gospel, and make Christ known.

Please join us in praying for our brothers and sisters in Kenya, that they would be strengthened in their faith, encouraged in their service, and equipped to reach others with the truth of God’s Word.

“The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.” — Matthew 9:37

To God be the glory for His ongoing work in Kenya!

Encouraging Christian Men and Sharing the Gospel

One of our missionaries recently had the opportunity to serve alongside local churches in Havana, Cuba, where he participated in Men’s Conferences held at three different churches. The local pastors invited the team to encourage and challenge men to grow in their faith, take spiritual responsibility in their homes, and lead their families according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

At one of the churches, more than 74 men attended, with encouraging participation at the other gatherings as well. The messages were well received, and the conferences provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen and encourage Christian men in their walk with the Lord. The prayer is that these men will continue to grow in their faith and become godly leaders in their homes, churches, and communities.

The ministry also provided opportunities to share the Gospel personally. During one encounter on a street corner in Havana, the missionary team met a man named Ernesto, who was ready to make a commitment to follow Jesus Christ. This was one of several opportunities to share the message of salvation and point people to the hope found in the Gospel.

Despite the financial hardships faced by many of these local churches, the believers continue to demonstrate remarkable joy in the Lord and a desire to serve Him faithfully. It was a privilege to fellowship with these congregations, encourage their pastors and members, and participate in the work of the Gospel in Cuba.

Please pray for the continued spiritual growth of the men who attended the conferences, for Ernesto as he begins his journey of following Christ, and for the pastors and congregations faithfully serving in Havana. May the Lord strengthen these churches and use their witness to reach many more people with the Gospel.

We thank the Lord for a wonderful time of training and fellowship with our brothers in Christ. The training concluded with a teaching on the Book of Romans, and we praise God for the opportunity to study His Word together

We are deeply grateful for everyone who has faithfully stood with us in prayer. Your prayers and support mean so much and are a great encouragement to this ministry.

May the Lord continue to bless His servants, strengthen His Church, and bring forth lasting fruit through His Word.
