About Us: The Birmingham Boys Choir

Since its incorporation in 1973, this non-profit, civic organization has sought to provide intensive musical training for young men, ages 7-18. Through our system they are encouraged to more fully develop musical gifts within a group context and individually. While these young men are trained in music theory and technique, they also learn self-control, discipl

ine, professionalism, and the art of teamwork. These skills and life lessons benefit these youth throughout their lives, encouraging them to strive for excellence in all they do, and foster their future as leaders of our community. With active involvement from parents, the BBC adds a cultural dimension that continually astounds audiences at home and abroad.
