Not strong in the right resources. Not strong in the right connections. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱.

That's the foundation every indigenous leader, every church planter, and every believer stepping into an unreached community is standing on. Not their own ability, but His. The work being done through Doulos Partners isn't sustained by human effort alone.

𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲/, 𝗡𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗹

𝘉𝘩𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘢, 𝘢 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘕𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘭, 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘺:

“A few years ago, my husband went to India for work. One day, I suddenly lost all contact with him. I received no phone calls or messages, and I had no idea what had happened. Later, I learned that he had been involved in a serious road accident in India.

Because of the accident, he lost his memory, and no one was able to inform me about his condition. Those were very difficult days. I was deeply worried and did not know whether my husband was alive or dead.

During that time, a BigLife leader gave me a Bible. I began reading God's Word, started gathering with believers, and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior. About one month later, I received a phone call from my husband's friend in India. He told me that he was bringing my husband back to Nepal.

When he finally came home, I was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. Through God's grace and the prayers of many believers, my husband has been recovering. Today, my heart is full of thankfulness. What I thought I had lost, God graciously restored to me. I give all the glory to God for His faithfulness, His love, and His power to answer prayer.”

This is the story of A.M., shared in his own words:

I studied filmmaking and directing, but inside I carried a difficult past and many unanswered questions. I was always searching for truth and meaning. I thought that art and cinema would give me what I was looking for, but I never found the peace my heart longed for.

During my training at the film studios, something happened that changed the direction of my life. I met a film director who was filming a single scene about a man named Jesus. At that time, I did not understand the meaning of that scene, but it stayed in my mind and I could not forget it.

From that day on, I began to search. I started reading, asking questions, and watching the lives of people who spoke about Jesus. Sometimes I doubted, and sometimes I felt I was getting closer to the truth. It was like a door slowly opening before me.

As time passed, I realized that Jesus was not just a name in a script. He was the One who had the answers to the questions that had troubled me for so many years. Little by little, my heart began to change, until one day I could no longer resist.

With a broken heart, I prayed: "I have searched for so long, and now I give my life to You. Please be my way."

From that day, my life began to change—not all at once, but step by step. The Lord gave me new hope and started healing the wounds of my past, one layer at a time. I learned that God has wisdom in every delay and a purpose in every detail of my life.

Today, my passion for filmmaking is no longer just a career or a personal dream. It has become a mission. I want to tell stories that bring light and hope to others, just as that one scene about Jesus became the beginning of my own story.

I am not a perfect person, but I am on a journey with God. And I have learned that anyone who sincerely searches for the truth will find it.

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗻𝗱, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲𝘀

June 2–7, our Doulos Partners team traveled to Manaus, Brazil, alongside our ministry partner BigLife, for a vision and vetting trip deep into the Amazon. Several Doulos investors and their families joined us and experienced firsthand what God is doing among some of the most remote communities on earth.

For three days we traveled by boat along the Amazon River into villages only reachable by water, sharing the Gospel with families along the riverbanks, encouraging teenagers through soccer outreach, gathering with families to watch the Jesus Film, and meeting with BigLife leaders to hear how disciple-making movements are multiplying throughout the region.

No roads or modern conveniences. But the hope of Jesus is reaching even the most isolated corners of the Amazon.

𝗔 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺

This past May, three Doulos Partners investors brought their families to Barranquilla, Colombia, to join our team on a vision and vetting trip. What they came home with was more than information. It was a front-row seat to God moving through His people.

We knocked on doors and shared the Gospel in local neighborhoods, trained church members to take the message of hope to the people in their own circles, and gathered for community outreach where conversations of faith happened naturally.

𝟱𝟬 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆.
𝟰𝟬 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.
𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟯-𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲.

These believers didn't stop when we left.
That's the ripple effect of indigenous ministry. When local followers are equipped, the impact doesn't end when the trip does.
