𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘈𝘴𝘪𝘢

In a small village, Rinku* lived for years under constant tension. Peace felt out of reach in his home. His father followed traditional religious practices, and strict social expectations created ongoing conflict within the family.

Everything began to change when Rinku met Coach Kiran*, a Disciple Making Movement (DMM) trainer. During one of their conversations, Kiran visited Rinku’s home and gently asked a simple question: “Would you like to discover Bible stories and parables together?”

In September, Rinku joined a Discovery Bible Study (DBS). Week by week, he read Scripture in his own language and reflected on it through simple, thoughtful discussion. Slowly, his heart began to change. Eventually, Rinku and his family reached a turning point. They shared, “We believe that Jesus is real. He gives peace—and we want that peace.” That day, they surrendered their lives to Christ.

Today, Rinku leads a small Discovery Bible Study group alongside his wife and son. God’s Word has brought profound transformation to their family, replacing tension with peace, joy, and unity. They now host nine people in their home for the study and have also stepped into Disciple Making Movement training themselves.

Field Story from Every Home For Christ
𝘓𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: 𝘕𝘐𝘎𝘌𝘙𝘐𝘈

Bandits are known to roam the area around Mando, and ongoing conflict between religious groups has created an atmosphere of tension. Knowing they might face opposition and danger during medical outreach and home-to-home visits in Mando, our Every Home Nigeria team covered every aspect of the work in prayer.

“Before we took a single step on the field, we sought the face of God,” they write. Seventy-seven believers committed to intensive fasting and prayer, seeking wisdom for how to carry Christ into this volatile region.

Believers felt the power of these prayers when their outreach team was surrounded by a hostile crowd. As the shouting intensified, God provided an unlikely advocate. An elderly Muslim cleric stepped forward, stood between our team and the churning crowd, and said: “These people have been respectful. They have not forced their beliefs on us but have come in peace and love.”

The tension dissolved, and some of the onlookers, including several Muslims, surrendered their lives to Christ.

Not far away, in Kiyawa, local officials interrogated members of a medical outreach team. Though fear pressed in on them, our team courageously answered every question and showed that their paperwork was in order. They were granted permission to continue, and as a result, 991 people received free medical consultations and life-saving medication, and twenty-four people chose to follow Jesus!

In February, Doulos Partners Founder and CEO David Johnson had the privilege of joining Shades Mountain Baptist Church in Vestavia Hills, Alabama, for their annual Global Impact Catalyst conference. Alongside other mission organizations, we had the opportunity to share who we are, what God is doing through our work, and how people can come alongside us to bring the Gospel to every village on earth.

One of the highlights? We brought attendees directly to Tanzania through our Virtual Reality experience — giving them a front-row seat to see indigenous church planters at work, discipleship unfolding in real time, and communities being transformed by the Gospel. Distance is no longer a barrier to feeling the weight and the wonder of the mission field.

The Gospel doesn't spread by staying in one place. It moves when faithful people pass it on to others who pass it on to others. That's not a modern idea. It's the pattern Scripture has always pointed to.

At Doulos Partners, we partner with indigenous leaders who are already inside the communities we could never fully reach from the outside. They speak the language, know the culture, and carry the Gospel to their own people in a way that multiplies far beyond what any outside effort could accomplish.

Join us on Zoom tomorrow, June 2, 2026, from 7:00–7:30 AM Central as we spend 30 minutes together lifting up our partners in prayer.

We'll be standing in the gap for indigenous leaders and interceding for those who are hearing the Gospel for the very first time. Your prayers bring movement. They equip workers, encourage new believers, and push the Kingdom further into places it hasn't reached yet. Don't underestimate what God does when His people pray together.

Location: Asia

Lin works as a government social worker in Asia. She knocks on doors, sits with families, explains what services are available, and answers questions.

A few years ago, Lin encountered the gospel online. Over time her faith in Christ took shape quietly, long before anyone else knew it was happening. She kept walking the same streets and visiting the same homes. The work stayed the same, but something else began to shift alongside it.

As Lin continued going door to door, conversations started to open in ways they hadn't before. Families talked about fears they were carrying, struggles they hadn't shared, questions about life and hope that had been sitting just beneath the surface. When it was welcomed, she shared what had changed her own life.

But what Lin didn't know at first was where this story had started. Long before she ever encountered the gospel, Daniel had spent years showing up, having long conversations with a few people at a time, sharing his faith, and staying when it would have been easier to move on. Along the way, he began putting some of what he believed online, without a plan and without knowing where it might lead.

Daniel never saw Lin knock on a single door. And yet his obedience reached every one of them. Just ordinary faithfulness, practiced day after day, extended further than anyone could have predicted.

Last October, Doulos Partners Founder and CEO David Johnson had the privilege of speaking at Eden Westside Baptist Church in Pell City, Alabama.

He was the keynote speaker for their senior adults' group, a community that gathers monthly to serve, share a meal, and hear from a guest. It was a great reminder that the mission doesn't just happen overseas. It's carried and supported by faithful people right here at home, in local churches, around tables, in communities just like this one.

These are the conversations and connections that fuel everything Doulos Partners does.
