Today we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives for our freedom. Their sacrifice is the reason we are able to gather, serve, laugh, love, and build moments of joy for kids and families every day at Iron City Trykes.

As we enjoy time with family and friends this Memorial Day, may we never forget those who paid the ultimate price for this country.

From all of us at Iron City Trykes, Thank You to our fallen heroes and the families who carry their legacy forward. 🇺🇸

Today was a special one for Iron City Trykes as we got to be part of We Love Homewood Day.

Huge thanks to Rusty Holley, Jakob Stephens, and the entire Homewood Parks & Rec team for putting together such an incredible event. It was organized, energetic, and full of everything that makes this community so special.

And speaking of community… today made me really proud of Homewood.

This is where I live, where I work, and where my kids go to school, and today was a reminder of just how great this place truly is. So many people stopped by our booth to learn about what we do and the mission behind Iron City Trykes.

But what stood out the most? The kids.

Yes, a lot of them came for candy 😊… but they were polite, respectful, and several were genuinely curious about our mission. One moment I won’t forget….a young boy asked, “Are y’all a donation company?” When we told him we’re a non-profit, he reached into his pocket and handed us $10 to support what we do.

That’s what it’s all about.

When people hear our trykes average around $1,500, they’re blown away. And when they learn that we only suggest a $100 donation from families and fundraise the rest, it hits even deeper.

This community gets it. And we are incredibly grateful to be a small part of it.

We truly do LOVE Homewood.

Two more superstars got their new rides today!

It’s just hard to have a bad day at Iron City Trykes.

Yesterday was something special.

10 kids. 10 new rides. Countless smiles.

What we witnessed wasn’t just fittings, it was freedom, confidence, and pure joy coming to life right in front of us. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Grateful. Inspired. Full of hope.
