Rise and Shine Birminghamians! It’s Thursday!
Whether you’re out and about, taking a walk around the neighborhood, or your dog to the park, etc, be sure to have a handy grocery bag tucked away just in case you come across something that may need to be picked up.
It costs nothing, and means everything.
I challenge you all to create a 20 minute free space for plogging and see what you come across.
Your environment matters, and this city needs YOU.

A few shots from our East Lake Clean up and oh man, what a HAUL 🤯
We spent about two hours Saturday morning shifting through the park with the Tragic City Rollers of Birmingham. We are so grateful for all of their help and could not have made such an impact without them!
For an area so large, gorgeous, and welcoming, it sure was filthy due to lack of proper receptors and environmental care. Nothing that we couldn't handle, but having extra hands makes a big change. It's time we start puting our care into ACTION.
Into our surroundings, our communities, and into ourselves.
What say you Birmingham?
What say you Randall Woodfin?
What say you Birmingham City Council?
What say you City of Birmingham Streets & Sanitation Department?
Are yall really ready to give a damn about this Magic City?

In just 15 minutes, this bunch of badass Birminghamians, AKA Redemptive Cycles' Thursday night Trample, cleaned up under the overpass of 28th Street N. and Richard Arrington, Jr. Blvd. With so many helping hands on deck, it was great fun to come together and collaborate. 💚🚴‍♂️🌎🤗

This week we're partnering with Give a Damn BHAM to give back to one of the neighborhoods we love to visit. If you'd like to help us tidy up we'll have gloves and bags at the stop during the ride, or bring a grabber if you got one! Give a Damn BHAM will haul away afterward.
