One of the rewarding parts of our therapeutic community is getting feedback from our veterans in real time. Once a month the residents at Ventura Springs meet with leadership from the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, A Community of Friends and U.S.VETS Ventura to discuss how we can make our community better.
Pictured here is a group of veterans who scored gift cards for local restaurants from our monthly raffle.

When our wonderful partners at Gold Coast Veterans Foundation called to say they were dropping off household items for our veterans, we quickly integrated it with our weekly Food Share of Ventura County food pantry. This is a great example of how three local non-profits come together to make life better for our Ventura Springs residents.
