Hello Simi Valley and beyond,
We are a week away from the next event at the VFW Museum of Military History. Please plan to join us Friday, September 18, 2026 at 6pm for National POW/MIA Recognition Day. This is a FREE community event. A memorable ceremony with plenty of time for dinner afterward at local restaurants.
This is the only official national day of observance dedicated entirely to honoring Americans who were prisoners of war or remain missing and unaccounted for - from all conflicts, in all theaters, and from every branch of service.

The VFW Museum of Military History would like to thank everyone who came out for our Flag Day Celebration yesterday afternoon. The creative program and staging by Tony Boucher and Kris Grayson was engaging and informative. We deeply appreciate all of the volunteers from veterans service groups, DAR, student cadets and community members that participated in this memorable afternoon.
