October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We take this time to honor those who have faced a diagnosis, support those going through it now, and recognize the families and communities standing beside them.

Awareness matters. Support matters. Presence matters.

We stand with you.

Rotary Club has sponsored Valparaiso Scouting Troop 995 for years. Monday night the Scouts attended the regular meeting of the Valparaiso Now City Council. It's one of several requirements for Scouting's "Citizenship in the Community" merit badge, needed to reach the rank of Eagle Scout. Valpo Rotarian Stu Summers serves as merit badge counselor.

Afterward, Valparaiso Police Department Chief of Police Andrew McIntyre met with the Scouts to answer their questions and share what it's like to build a career in law enforcement.

Proud to support Troop 995 as these young Scouts work toward Eagle.
