Sensory Splash Returns This September!
At the Valparaiso Family YMCA, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel safe, confident, and comfortable in the water.
Sensory Splash is a specialized swim lesson program for children with physical and developmental delays, including Down syndrome and autism. Led by two Swim Angelfish-certified instructors and trained YMCA staff, these lessons provide additional support in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
With a 2:1 participant-to-instructor ratio, swimmers receive more individualized attention as they build water safety skills, confidence, and independence at their own pace.

Please note: There will be no lesson on September 2.
If your child requires one-on-one support, a parent or guardian should be in the pool actively supervising and remain within arm's reach of their child.
