Because of your incredible generosity during our Day of Prayer & Giving campaigns, we are thrilled to share some exciting news — TWO of our homes will now be receiving Generac generators! 🎉

Thanks to the faithful support of our donors from both last year and this year, our children and staff will have greater safety, comfort, and stability during power outages and severe weather. What may seem like a generator to some is truly peace of mind for the children who call our campus home.

We are deeply grateful for every prayer, every gift, and every person who chose to stand beside our mission. Your support continues to make a lasting impact in the lives of vulnerable children and youth.

Introducing the Beth-A-Thon

For many years, this summer tradition was known as Celebrate Families — a special time focused on children, families, and supporting those in need. While that same heart remains, we are excited to relaunch this event with a renewed vision and a new name honoring the life and legacy of Beth Frump.

💙 The Beth-A-Thon 💙
June 1 – August 1

Beth’s compassion, servant heart, and love for the children of Shults-Lewis left a lasting impact that continues to inspire us today. The Beth-A-Thon will carry on that legacy through a summer of generosity, service, and community support benefiting the children of Shults-Lewis Child & Family Services.

This annual event brings together churches, families, businesses, and community members with one shared purpose:
➡️ Investing in the lives and futures of vulnerable children.

Each summer, funds raised through the Beth-A-Thon will support special projects and needs for our residents, including:
🎨 Art & music programs
📚 Educational resources
⚽ Recreation equipment & activities
💻 Technology needs
🎉 Special events & experiences for our children

We invite churches, families, youth groups, and community members to join us through:

❤️ Fundraising
🤝 Service opportunities

Together, we can continue a tradition of compassion, generosity, and hope that changes lives each summer.

We’re so thankful for our amazing maintenance team for helping pick up non-perishable food donations from all over! Your willingness to serve behind the scenes helps keep our pantry stocked and makes a real difference in the lives of the children in our care.
We’re also deeply grateful to the churches whose generosity continues to bless Shults Lewis. Thank you for being part of the support that helps us care for these kids each day.

This morning, during our devotion, we took a special moment to recognize our incredible house Moms, who continually go above and beyond for the children and families we serve. Their love, patience, guidance and servant hearts make such a lasting impact each and every day!!
As Mother’s Day approaches, we want to say thank you and happy early Mother’s Day to all of the amazing mothers and mother figures who pour into others with Grace and compassion. You are deeply appreciated and truly a blessing💕

Congratulations to fellow KV REMC member Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services on receiving a $3,000 Operation Round Up Trust grant! Shults-Lewis provides residential care, education, and counseling for vulnerable youth, and this funding will support wellness initiatives like a treadmill and raised garden beds to help build healthy habits and life skills. We’re proud to support organizations that invest in youth across our community.
