Sometimes, it’s the little moments that mean the most. One of our residents recently noticed a plaque honoring someone who has made an impact at Shults Lewis. What touched us was that they didn’t just walk past it—they stopped, noticed, and asked about the person being honored.

These moments remind us that the legacy of those who have poured into Shults Lewis continues to live on—not only in our campus, but in the hearts of the young people we serve.

We are grateful for every person who has helped make Shults Lewis a place of hope, healing, love, and fresh starts. What a beautiful reminder that the impact we make today can continue long after we’re gone.

Come support Shults Lewis Child & Family Services at our Golf Outing this Friday, August 28, at Pine K**b Golf Club in Clarkston, MI!

There’s still time to join us for a great day on the course while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children who need hope, healing, and a chance to thrive. We’d love to see you there and help make this year’s outing one to remember!

A special shoutout to Waterford Church of Christ for hosting this wonderful event and helping us bring people together for a day of fellowship, fun, and support for the youth we serve. We are so grateful for your partnership!

A HUGE Thank You to Heinold & Feller Annual Car Show 4 Kidz! 🚗❤️

We are incredibly grateful to Heinold & Feller for putting on an amazing car show in support of Shults Lewis! Your generosity, hard work, and willingness to rally the community around our kids means more than you know.

Events like this not only raise important support for Shults Lewis but also help bring people together around a cause that truly matters—giving vulnerable children a safe place to heal, grow, and discover hope.

Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when someone chooses to go a little beyond what their job requires
Over summer, our relief house parents took the kids to a concert in the park, followed by sunset on the beach, creating memories, sharing laughter, simply enjoying life together
Being a house parenting is so much more than providing supervision. It’s showing up, building relationships, creating moments of joy and reminding our kids that they are worth investing in.
We are so grateful for ALL of our house parents because they see their role as not just a job, but an opportunity to love, encourage and be a positive presence in the lives of children we serve

What a blessing to see God work through everyday moments ❣️
