Are you really mad… or are you hurt?
For a lot of young men, sadness doesn't always come out as tears. Sometimes it comes out as anger, frustration, silence, isolation, or shutting people out.
But what happens when we never learn how to name what we're actually feeling?
In this H.E. Barbershop Talk, young men have a real conversation about expressing emotions, coping with sadness, and understanding the difference between feeling angry and being hurt.
💈 You don't have to hide what you're feeling to be strong.
Sometimes strength is being able to say:
“I'm sad.”
“I'm hurt.”
“I'm overwhelmed.”
“I need help.”
The question is:

Did you know you can support youth substance misuse prevention every time you shop at Walmart online or through the Walmart app?

I'm asking friends, family, colleagues, and community members to select Holistic Evolution Inc as their Walmart Spark Good Round Up charity. Once selected, Walmart will give you the option to round up your purchases to the nearest dollar, and your spare change will be donated to Holistic Evolution with every eligible order. Even a few cents at a time can create meaningful change when we work together.

Your support will help fund our Prevention Hero Training Program, which equips students and educators with evidence-based substance misuse prevention skills.

Most importantly, these funds allow us to provide this training and planning support at no cost to schools helping students and educators create healthier, safer learning environments.
