I got a BS in Nutrition Science and it was so hard to find work in the 80's. It was tough commuting and working weekends because hospitals never take a holiday. After my kids were born, I needed a local part-time "day" job. Dental hygiene met my needs: preventive, detailed, one on one clinical healthcare close to home.
