From the Cadets Program to Officer & Dispatcher Wellness programs and more, the Foundation provides moral and financial support to help the PD deliver outstanding law enforcement services to the community. 07:30 am - Welcome breakfast burrito, coffee, water, bloody mary or mimosa

02:00 pm - Tri-tip or chicken buffet lunch, awards, auction, prizes, and no-host bar

Where did your donations go? During 2024-2026, the Foundation supported the Bowen Memorial Fund, Cadet Program, K9 Program, PD staff cancer screening, Dispatch and Records Appreciation Days, National Night Out, Administrative Professionals Day, Cops in a Classroom, the PD Awards Ceremony, Special Olympics, National Police Officer Memorial Fund, Police Activities League, support the effort to build a memorial for officers who made the ultimate sacrifice. Additionally, some funds will go to the K9 Program to care for retired K9s that need medical care. and more.

We carry the memories of all our fallen heroes—both on the battlefield and in the line of duty—with pride, gratitude, and an unwavering commitment to keep Vacaville safe. Today, the Vacaville Police Foundation had the pleasure of supporting our VPD as they participated in the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics of Northern California. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This event is a phenomenal way to support the incredible athletes of Special Olympics, and we were so happy to play a part! To enhance the collaboration between our community and the VPD, the Foundation was thrilled to provide funding for the runners’ T-shirts and entry fees.

Every step taken at this run represents not only dedication but also profound community support. Thank you to the VPD for your service, and thank you to everyone who supported the cause!

The California Peace Officer Memorial Enrollment Ceremony is today, May 4, 2026, in Sacramento. If you cannot attend, please keep the surviving families in your thoughts and prayers. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office held its ceremony to honor its own. God bless those who made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our communities safe. 💙
