We had another busy meeting on Sunday, with a number of our Blanketeers unable to attend, everyone was busy helping! Welcome to all our new people who joined us.

So far this month we are donating 281 blankets. We were able to make sure most of the groups that needed blankets are receiving some. There were a few places that we had to leave off of this month’s deliveries.
Next month, we will be delivering blankets to CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for their holiday party for the many foster children they represent. In fact, we are going to need 75 blankets for them. Their party is December 9, so all 75 will have to be collected in November.
We also will need blankets for holiday events at Strong Tower Church in Vallejo in both November, for Thanksgiving and December for Christmas. They make sure that low income or homeless children are comforted with our blankets.
We will also be donating to the Solano County Office Education for their annual "Warmth and Wellness" collection. This closes on December 1st and so far we have been unable to deliver any blankets to them.
At this point, we will not be adding any other groups to our roster. We can’t give them blankets if we don’t have them.
If you are unable to come to the meeting next month, please let me know. Hopefully you can get your blankets to us prior to the meeting, as you see, we do need them.
