As the temperatures start dropping, we are highlighting some of our favorite indoor activities around Union Gap.

If you haven't visited the Olde Yakima Letterpress Museum, it’s an absolute hidden gem. Tucked right on the grounds of the Central WA Ag Museum, this volunteer-run space preserves the art of vintage letterpress printing. With fully operational antique presses and movable type, it offers a hands-on look at how news and art were shared long before the digital age.

It makes for a captivating, cozy weekend stop for families and history buffs. They are open to the public on the first and third Saturday of every month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Valley Mall is honoring Día de Los Mu***os this week with a beautiful "Celebration of Life" event series hosted by the Yakima Morelia Sister City Association!

From Oct. 31 through Nov. 7, you can view the Community Altar Exhibit daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plus, there is a fantastic schedule of live performances and workshops happening throughout the week:

On Oct. 31, the Valley Mall is hosting the Spooktacular Malloween & Trick-or-Treating event. Make Union Gap your basecamp for an indoor, family-friendly Halloween full of candy, costumes and cheer.

🦇 Villains in the Valley (1 to 3 p.m.): Head to the Center Court to meet iconic monsters, hit the Monster Dance Party and visit the Build-a-Monster Bar.
