Hi Neighbors,
As of right now the Wishing Well is no longer. Someone took it down. We are not sure if it was the city or who. We are working on it right now to get another cabinet back up. We just want to make sure the new one will not get taken again. As soon as we know more we will let you all know.
Sincerely, The Wishing Well.

Hi Neighbors! 🩵

I have been looking for a sturdy, slightly larger cabinet (preferably wood) to replace our plastic one. Does anyone have anything they might be willing to donate to accommodate our new pantry!? Currently looking on amazon and they are running about $500. But would honestly love a good thrifted item if possible! if you have one or know of one, please message me.

Sincerely,
The Wishing Well 🩷

Hi Neighbors!!

I LOVE that the wishing well is continuing to serve it’s purpose amongst our community.

Unfortunately, due to the wind, the wishing well was destroyed today. We will try to have it either fixed or have a new one up tomorrow.

I apologize for any inconvenience! We will have it back up and running shortly to continue to spread community and holiday cheer! 🩷

✨ Wishing Well Update 11/19/2025 ✨

Just checking in with a quick update today. Every time I stop by, I’m amazed by the kindness in this community! From the food and toiletries people leave, to the baby items and pet supplies that show up right when someone needs them.

And to those who quietly stop and take what they need: you are always welcome here. No judgment, ever.

Thank you to everyone who continues to care for each other in big and small ways. The Wishing Well is here for you. 💛

🌾 Wishing Well Community Update 🌾
I want to take a moment to address something important.

We have spoken directly with the authorities, and they have officially made note of the situation involving the neighboring business. The police have asked that anyone who experiences harassment, confrontation, or is followed in any way immediately call 911 to report it. Your safety matters, and you have every right to access community resources without fear.

The Wishing Well will always stand for compassion, dignity, and support.
Thank you to everyone who continues to show up with open hearts, whether by giving or receiving. This community is stronger together. 💛

I’ve been made aware that some community members who stop by have been yelled at or confronted by a nearby business. We have already talked to them and are going to the next steps. I want to be very clear:

👉 No one has permission to question, monitor, or police who takes from the pantry or how much they take.
👉 If you are in need, you are welcome here — full stop.

The Wishing Well runs on trust, dignity, and compassion. We don’t ask for names, stories, or explanations. Life is complicated, and sometimes people who look like they have enough are the ones silently struggling the most.

If you ever feel uncomfortable or are approached while using the pantry, please reach out to me directly.
No one should be shamed for needing support.

Thank you to everyone who continues to fill, restock, and uplift this little project.
Let’s keep this space safe, kind, and judgment-free.

✨ The Wishing Well Could Use a Little Love ✨

Our little pantry is looking a bit low today, neighbors. This community has already shown so much kindness, and I’m endlessly grateful for the way people look out for one another here.

If you’re able to drop off even one or two items. food, toiletries, baby items, warm socks, anything that helps someone through a tough moment, it truly makes a difference. Every can, every box, every small act adds up in a big way.

🚨Calling all neighbors!!! 🚨
There have been many requests for baby items: diapers, formula, wipes, etc.

If anyone has any extras or wants to purchase some, the pantry could use them!
