West Valley Dollars for Scholars

West Valley Dollars for Scholars WV Yakima Dollars for Scholars is a community scholarship program focused on raising funds to provide scholarships to graduating WV high school seniors.

WVDFS is part of the Scholarship America program that focuses on fundraising through various community events for the sole purpose of awarding scholarships to deserving West Valley High School graduating seniors. Beside the general funds raised, WVDFS also maintains and awards funds for several memorial scholarships, which include Avis & Leon Burrill, Mitch Perala, Cindy Peterson, Barry Jones, Dav

e Arend, Donna Cox and Romae Monroe Memorial Scholarships. WVDFS acts as the agent for pass-through scholarships for the GE Clasen, Outback, Chris Schaub Memorial and John Mori scholarships. WVDFS is proud to award approximately $50,000 total scholarships annually.
