What a night! 💙

Last night Good Trouble Tulsa and Indivisible Tulsa County came together for a fun evening with a serious purpose. We laughed, we connected, and we got to work:

✍️ Wrote postcards
📞 Made phone calls
🗳️ Organized to help get our candidates elected

And John Croisant, candidate for U.S. Congress in District 1, stopped by to remind us what’s at stake in this election. Thank you, John!

This is what community looks like. Thank you to everyone who showed up, brought friends, and stepped out of their comfort zone. Every conversation and every postcard brings us one step closer.

🗳️ AUGUST 25 RUNOFF IS ONE WEEK AWAY, LET’S GO VOTE!

Do your own research on candidates. Read about their positions. Ask questions. Then get to the polls and VOTE on August 25.

Here are our suggestions & endorsements for two key runoff races that will impact the future of Oklahoma.

GOVERNOR (Republican ballot) Gentner Drummond is suggested in the August 25 runoff.
**GOVERNOR: in the November general election, we fully ENDORSE Cyndi Munson. She will work on behalf of ALL Oklahomans**

STATE SUPERINTENDENT (Both runoff & general): Dr. Robert Franklin is the most qualified candidate in this race. He’s also the candidate the teachers support. Full endorsement.

STATE QUESTION 846: Vote NO. Oklahoma already has voter ID requirements. This would lock them into our constitution and give the legislature unchecked power to change them. No.

STATE QUESTION 844: Vote NO. This changes how the state reimburses schools and local governments for manufacturing exemptions. Vote no.

Most importantly: VOTE. Get your friends to vote. Get your family to vote. These state questions made it onto this ballot because people weren’t expected to show up. Prove them wrong.
Make good trouble. 💙

We had the pleasure of chatting with Jess Piper, Executive Director of Blue Missouri, right after she wowed the room at our meeting Monday night. If you missed it, this reel is just a taste of what went down!

Last night, Jess Piper, Executive Director of Blue Missouri reminded us what it means to be a rural Democrat in a red state. And honestly? We needed to hear it.

Jess talked healthcare. Education. The economy. Data centers. She showed us where common ground actually exists, where Republicans and Democrats are united on what matters.

But the real gift? She gave us a roadmap for how to talk to the other side. Not to convince them to flip. But to listen, to find the values we share, and to build from there. That’s what it looks like to be a dirt road Democrat, standing firm in what you believe while staying connected to your neighbors.

In a moment when everything feels divided, Jess brought hope. She showed us it’s possible to lead with both conviction and compassion.

This is the work. This is how we make good trouble.

Thanks, Jess. And thanks to everyone who showed up ready to listen and learn.
