I’m proud to be co-chairing Diabetes Awareness Day on behalf of the Legislative Diabetes Caucus, bringing together advocates, legislators, and community members to elevate the real impact of this disease.

From policy to personal stories, this day is about showing up and making it count. If you’ve ever been impacted by diabetes—this is your invitation.

When you hit your late 40s and suddenly need a whole collection of glasses just to see your life clearly 😂. What you can’t see is my everyday glasses conveniently attached to my shirt for easy access. 2 women, 5 pairs of glasses, and a whole lot of ‘where are my reading glasses?’ moments.
