The Skelly Building, 23 West 4th Street, 1930. The building was originally nine stories and designed by Rush, Endacott & Rush for the headquarters of Skelly Oil. Ultimately, the building was constructed in three stages in 1913, 1915, and 1929. The top three floors were added in 1929 and designed in the Art Deco style by architect Bruce Goff. The building was demolished in 2004 by the Tulsa World to make way for an exclusive parking garage. (Photo courtesy Museum of Tulsa History).

Will Rogers High School, 3909 E. 5th Place, was built in 1939 and designed by Joseph R. Koberling, Jr. and Leon B. Senter. Fire Station 17, 1351 North Sheridan Road, opened its doors on July 1, 1954 and was designed by Hanton & Wilson. The station is considered in the Streamline Moderne architecture style – an art deco style popular at the end of the art deco era.
