Time to share again! Tulsa has a significant increase in pedestrian crashes in September and October. Partially due to sunlight glare during peak travel times.

Its a good time to clean the summer pollen off of your windows. Its a good time for pedestrians to be extra careful crossing our streets.

If you have an interest in safe (and comfortable) bike routes your opinion would be invaluable to INCOG staff as they gather information to update the regional GO Plan.
INCOG covers a large region and 11 cities are included in the Go Plan. They have scheduled three meetings this week - Sapulpa, Broken Arrow, and Tulsa. Tuesday's meeting in Sapulpa would be a good time to discuss issues outside of Tulsa like Shell Creek Road and HWY 97.
Tuesday: Go! Plan Kickoff and Open House - Sapulpa
Wednesday: Go! Plan Kickoff and Open House - Broken Arrow
Thursday: Go! Plan Kickoff and Open House - Tulsa

October is historically a deadly month for people walking and riding a bicycle. Please be careful by:
* Stop before the crosswalk when driving.
* Look right when turning right (you may not be the only one there).
* Only turn right on red when you are certain nothing is in your way.
