Today marks the first day of the Tulsa Regional Chamber's 2026 Intercity Visit in Kansas City. As SVP of Community Development Jonathan Long wrote in a column published in Sunday's Tulsa World, "The point isn’t to copy Kansas City. It’s to learn. What worked? What didn’t? Where did regional alignment matter? What choices were truly catalytic? What would they do differently?

"The real measure of an Intercity Visit isn’t what we see while we’re away. It’s whether what we learn changes conversations back home."

We are spotlighting Goodytwos Toffee Company, which makes premium handcrafted almond toffee in Tulsa.

“We think of ourselves as the ‘Tiffany of Toffee’ with a fun personality,” owner Melinda Stinnett said. “Through our Chamber membership and the Small Business Connection, the Women's Programming Series and many other similar events, we have connected with a community of business owners who genuinely cheer each other on, and that kind of support is worth its weight in toffee.

“We also believe in and support the Chamber's activities in economic development, workforce development and regional tourism. A strong business ecosystem with these elements fully addressed ensures our region and small businesses like ours continue to thrive and grow.”

Tulsa has a rare combination of big-city energy and small-town loyalty that makes it a haven for small businesses, she said.

“The infrastructure, the community investment, and the genuine enthusiasm for local brands make it one of the best-kept secrets in American entrepreneurship,” Stinnett said. “When you build something here, people show up for you, and they tell their friends, and those friends tell their friends.”
Stinnett strives to make every customer’s interaction with Goodytwos memorable.

“The experience starts long before the toffee arrives,” she said. “It lives in our farmers' market conversations, our social media, the retailers and hotels who carry our products and the note tucked inside every order.

“We treat everyone in the Goodytwos’ world, whether they are a first-time buyer or a longtime wholesale partner, like they matter, because they do.”
