Exciting news! School will be open in the new building THIS SCHOOL YEAR - starting in October! We are finishing the floor now and that is the final piece before we can operate. There is still much to do to finish the school but we are excited to be able to finally meet in our building.

We are looking to add back our feeding program this year! It will cost $500 per month to feed our staff and students - about 150 people per month. If you’re looking to become a monthly sponsor - now is the time! You can help us feed these students and staff! Visit chasingeden.org for more information.

Hello Friends,

Thank you for the ways you have supported us financially and in prayer over these last several years. You have changed the lives of these children in Haiti and I will forever be grateful for each and every one of you.

As many of you know, the unrest in Haiti has increased significantly over the past several years and as a result I haven't been able to visit since 2019. I can assure you that 100% of your donations still go directly to supporting these teachers and the Chasing Eden school - HOPE Christian School. We have been able to cover the teachers salary each month and we have also completely paid off the land in order to start building the new school. Your donations have made a difference and we HAVE MADE PROGRESS!

Our school has grown! We now have 130 children and 10 teachers - which is amazing! This also means our monthly costs have increased. Here are the currently monthly expenses:
School Master: $150.00
3 Assistants: $290.00
10 Teachers: $1,000.00
Total per month: $1,440.00

We are no longer able to provide lunch for the children during school but we try to make special meals for the children and their families whenever possible. Once we get more monthly sponsorships, we will be able to provide daily lunches again. I know many of you currently sponsor each month but if you are not, we would love for you to consider sponsoring - even just $10 per month goes a long way!

Last but certainly not least, we are now partnering with Steele Creek Church in Charlotte, NC to finally build the school! The school has been operating for years in temporary spaces and now we are moving forward to put the permanent structure in place. The cost will be around $140,000 and while this is a big number, our God is BIGGER! We have prayed for a long time to be connected with a church and we are so excited to team up with Steele Creek. Here is a video from our contact in Haiti to share with you the vision as well as the blueprints for the new school!

Meeting our monthly support and getting the feeding program up and running again is our first priority - so if you aren't already a monthly supporter, we would love to partner with you. We can take recurring payments via Zelle or PayPal.

If you are interested in giving a one time donation to build the school, we prefer to use Zelle in order to avoid PayPal fees. All Zelle payments can be connected to our [email protected] email. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Thank you all for the prayers and support you have given over the years. Each of you has been a part of making a difference in Haiti and I hope you continue to be a part of the dream to bring the Gospel and education to these beautiful children.
