How far does your dollar go? 💲

We want to do our best to get the cats what they need. To do that, they need to be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and ear tipped.

Why is all of that important?

Oklahoma has an overpopulation problem, and when we help fix the community cats, it breaks that cycle. It reduces the amount of cats that are being dumped and surrendered to rescues and shelters.

Vaccinations are important too, which is why we don't just stop after getting them spayed and neutered. When the cats receive FVRCP, it helps make the kittens, if any more, are born healthier by reducing the chance of the colony getting exposed to deadly respiratory diseases. Rabies is important right now due to oklahoma having recent outbreaks. This helps protect the cats, other animals, and the community. Vaccinating community cats creates a safer environment for everyone and helps reduce the risk of rabies transmission.TNR isn't just about preventing kittens—it's also about creating healthier, safer communities for everyone.

Microchipping is a new service we have recently started doing for our community cats. We decided that this would be beneficial if one of the cats were taken to a shelter because the microchip would tell us the exact location the cat belongs to. It started because we had low barn cat requests. Since most were brought in ear tipped, we suspected people were intentionally trapping the cats and taking them in. Shelters usually euthanize upon intake unless there is a home lined up. The shelter is not the ideal place for barn cats or unsocialized cats. However, little did we know that the microchips would also help us identify injured cats and help us get them back home if they found themselves dumped across town.

Ear tipping is so critical to this whole process. Ear tipping is a universal sign across the nation, which signifies that this cat has been altered.During surgery, a small portion of the tip of the left ear is removed while the cat is under anesthesia. It saves valuable resources so TNR programs can focus on helping cats that still need services. Ear tipping is considered the humane and widely accepted method of identifying community cats. The procedure is done while the cat is already under anesthesia, heals quickly, and does not affect the cat's hearing, balance, or quality of life.

Waitlist Temporarily Closed to NEW Requests

Due to an ongoing shortage of funding availability, we are unable process new Requests for Trap/Neuter/Vacinate/Return Assistance at this time.

An announcement will be made on social media when our Request for Assistance form is active once again.

Closing our Request for Assistance Form will be short-term while we prioritize our open requests.

For those caregivers on our current waitlist, both active and pending, your projects will continue to be addressed in the order received and as the resources are available to do so.

🐾 A Huge Milestone... and a Huge Bill 🐾

$377/$3,892 has been raised

This past month, we held one of our largest TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) clinics yet. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, veterinarians, trappers, fosters, and supporters, dozens of community cats received the care they desperately needed.

Every cat that is spayed or neutered means fewer kittens born into a life of hunger, illness, and uncertainty. Every vaccination helps protect not only that cat, but entire colonies. Every ear tip tells a story of a cat that has been given a chance at a healthier future.

The reality of rescue, though, is that lifesaving work comes with a cost.

Our bill from this clinic totaled $3,892.

That's a big number for a small rescue. While we celebrate the impact we made, we are also facing the challenge of paying for the care that made it possible. We never want finances to stand in the way of helping cats, but we can't continue this work without the support of our community.

When you donate, you're not just helping us pay a bill. You're helping prevent future suffering. You're helping reduce overpopulation. You're helping kittens avoid being born into difficult circumstances. You're helping us continue saying "yes" when the next cat needs help.

🐱 June is National Adopt-a-Cat Month! 🐱

To celebrate, we've decided to "adopt" a feral cat for every $55 donated throughout the month of June!

Each $55 donation helps us provide spay/neuter services so that more community cats can be fixed, preventing future litters and improving their quality of life.

We want this fundraiser to be fun, too! When you donate, send us a name you'd like us to give one of the cats in honor of your donation. At the end of the month, we'll introduce all of our adopted cats and share the names that helped make their care possible.

Please note: these cats are not being placed into homes. They will be humanely trapped, fixed, vaccinated as needed, and returned to their established colonies through our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) efforts.
