Happy 4th of July, Brookside neighbors! 🇺🇸✨

If you are looking to celebrate today without leaving town, there are plenty of fantastic ways to enjoy Independence Day right around our community and across Tulsa.

Here are some fun things to do today, July 4th:

* Cool off at the Gathering Place: Spend your morning or afternoon exploring the scenic trails, checking out the seasonal decorations, or letting the kids play at the splash pads.
* Stroll Riverside Drive: Take a golf cart ride or a family bike trip down the river parks trails to enjoy the holiday breeze.
* Grab a patriotic treat: Head down to Peoria Avenue to support our local Brookside restaurants and shops for a festive holiday lunch, cold drinks, or ice cream.
* Tulsa FFD Freedom Fest: Cap off your night with Tulsa's premier fireworks display over the Arkansas River! Ground festivities start around 6:00 PM at River West Festival Park and Veterans Park, with the massive fireworks show launching around 9:30 PM.

A friendly neighborhood reminder: Since we live in a vibrant, tightly knit neighborhood with many historic homes, mature trees, and beloved pets, please be mindful of local fireworks regulations and keep our streets safe and clean.
How is your family celebrating today? Share your backyard barbecues, festive decorations, or holiday photos in the comments below! 👇

Have a safe, fun, and happy 4th of July, Brookside!
