We are beyond grateful for Cousins Youth Outdoor Development and Troy Eagles 971 for working with us on an idea we had at the beginning of the year: get kids outdoors and teach them how to fish! 🐟 The group of men and women that Cousins Youth Outdoor Development brought to support this program were amazing with the kids. Stay tuned for more pictures….because seriously, is there anything cuter than a child’s face all lit up because they caught a fish?!!

We are excited to launch our “Birthday Twins” program with you! 👯‍♀️👯‍♂️ Share your birthday with a child experiencing poverty, homelessness, foster care or involvement with the court system 🥳 While you celebrate your special day, we will match you with a birthday child on or near your birthday! 🥳 Why did we choose July 28 to launch this program? Because it’s the birthday of Debby Spillane Breisch, who is the inspiration for this program and who is celebrating her birthday today! Happy Birthday Debby 🎉 and also to your birthday twin Penelope W. who has been residing in a safe home (but will be moving into a house soon with her mother and siblings!!) Celebrating you both today!

Our fourth year of DragonGames Camp was epic! 🙌 The kids had fun, made friends and slayed bad guys! 💪 This program is near and dear to our hearts and the support of our DMs (Dungeon Masters) is what makes this program possible. North Elm Collective was the perfect venue for clean, creative and lawful Dungeons and Dragons play for four days in a row!! These kids are smart, creative and the sweetest humans! Wow! Thanks to our community, we are receiving a donation that will make a big impact on our agency….Huge shout out to Carr Insurance Group, and to our board member Todd Carr, and a special thanks goes out to our community who doubled our grant from $5K to $10K in the fastest turnaround in Liberty Mutual Insurance history!
