Reading for Change Reading for Change exists to be a safe and welcoming, yet challenging environment, where students can improve their literacy and life skills.

Today a reader, tomorrow a leader. Why choose this as our motto? We know literacy is fundamental for learning and growth. Further, we know many students need specialized literacy tutoring in addition to what they receive in the classroom to optimize their abilities, and exponentially increase the potential for their futures. Our Goals...

-Provide tools and resources
necessary to of

fer a well-rounded, supplemental learning environment
for students in the Troy area.

-Offer a fun, engaging setting
for students to improve
literacy, in addition to
learning appropriate life skills.

-Help students to set goals
and gain confidence
in their literacy skills.

-Be a source of support for the Troy
City School system by gifting
supplemental education to
students struggling with literacy.

-For each year in the program,
each student will achieve at or
above one year of growth
in overall literacy!
