The arts have the power to educate, unite, and transform a community — and for more than 30 years, the Piqua Arts Council has been making sure everyone has access to that power.

We're proud to support the Piqua Arts Council in their mission to bring high-quality, diverse arts and cultural programming to Miami County. From summer Music in the Park series to multi-day workshops led by nationally recognized artists, from their beloved Boogie for the Arts fundraiser to an exciting new home at 401 N. Main Street — PAC is building something vibrant and lasting in Piqua.
What makes their work especially meaningful is their commitment to reaching everyone — not just a single audience, but a true cross-section of the community, across all ages, backgrounds, and artistic interests.

🎨 Art 4 Everyone: Kids & Teens Art Exploration Days 🌟

Let creativity lead the way with Piqua Arts Council! Our Art 4 Everyone days invite young artists to explore, create, and discover new artistic skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Each session features hands-on art experiences guided by engaging instructors—encouraging imagination, confidence, and self-expression. Designed for curious beginners and budding creatives alike, these days are all about trying something new—from painting and mixed media to projects inspired by our Art 4 Everyone mission.

Reading is one of the most powerful gifts we can give a child — and Kids Read Now is making sure that gift doesn't stop when the school bell rings.

We're proud to support Kids Read Now and their mission to keep kids reading outside of the classroom, all year long. Their approach is simple but powerful: get books kids actually want to read into their hands and into their homes — then build the habits, ownership, and excitement that turn reluctant readers into lifelong ones. The results say it all — 97% of returning students who complete the program maintain or improve their reading skills over summer break. With partners in 46 states, Kids Read Now is closing reading gaps for kids everywhere — including right here in our community.

At the Duke Foundation, we believe investing in local development creates ripples that strengthen our entire community — and Partners in Hope is a perfect example of that in action.

In this video, Carol Jackson from Partners in Hope shares how grant support from the Duke Foundation has empowered their organization to grow and deepen their impact. And as Carol puts it, getting started was simpler than you might think: "It really is an easy process."

The Rally 4 Heroes Car Show is rolling into town on Saturday, May 16th, and it’s happening right in the heart of the Miami County Food Truck Rally. Whether you’re a fan of classic cars, sleek motorcycles, or just incredible food, this is the place to be!
