Have you ever run a 5K? Walked a neighborhood trail? Attended a local track event? If so, you’ve likely been touched by the efforts of Traverse City Track Club.

The Traverse City Track Club, established in 1962, is an event and program based organization that encourages health, fitness, family recreation and competition through the sports of running and walking. For over 50 years, TCTC has donated funds, equipment, expertise and elbow grease to area schools, organizations and individuals. Additionally, we have created some of the area’s premier running ev

ents—Bayshore Marathon, Farmland, and more. All with one purpose in mind—making the pure, simple enjoyment of running and walking available to everyone.

We are just one month out from the Farmland 5k and Free For all Bike!

Join us on Sunday, October 12th for a unique running and biking event (participants also have the option of choosing to just run OR bike)

This beautiful course includes grass, wooded dirt trails, and farmland terrain.

New for 2025: A 1-mile Kid’s Event! Kids will receive a free small pumpkin to decorate after the event.

If you read your monthly TCTC eNews, you know we’re featuring ambassador this week!

Jennifer says, “I run because it makes me feel good. Plain and simple. It’s a time to clear my mind and just zone out. I always feel better after lacing up and getting my run in.”

Jennifer wanted to be an ambassador because she loves representing the club and spreading positivity. We can confirm - she is a positive force and we are lucky to have her!

It’s another exciting week in the world of the Traverse City Track Club!

Here’s where you can find us around town this week:

👉 Wednesday, 9/10 at 6:30PM: Fun Run at the ! No need to be a member to join, 3 and 5 mile routes are available.

👉 Thursday, 9/11 at 9:00AM: Seniors on the Run at Hull Park! Enjoy moving with our senior community at any pace you are comfortable with.

👉 Saturday, 9/13 at 8:30AM: Community Run at on 10th Street! Start the day off with a run and join us for coffee after.

We’re kicking the weekend off with our community run! Join us tomorrow morning at East Bay Park (also known as the location of the first aid station for the Bayshore Marathon!)

We’ll warm up at 8:20am and the run begins at 8:30am.

September is here and things are cooling off! It’s the perfect time to check out our Seniors on the Run program.

Join us every Thursday at 9am at Hull Park. Meet great people and enjoy some movement with this beautiful view!

It’s the first Fun Run of September and we’re celebrating over at !

It’s an extra exciting night as our friends from will be there doing a speed shoe demo! Try out some Asics, Brooks, New Balance, Nike, and Saucony shoes with us.

It’s here! Who is ready to Loop the Lake tonight?

Important race day details:

👉Packet pickup: Begins at 4pm at Hull Park. Online registration goes until 5:45pm today. QR codes will be available to signup onsite.

👉Pre Race Yoga presented by :
Hull Park at 5pm. This is a free event but please pre-register. Be sure to bring a towel or yoga mat!

👉Race Start: Hull Park at 6pm. There will be a wave start. Runners will be asked to line up according to their estimated finish time. We will be running clockwise and the course remains open to the public. Please be courteous of other trail goers!

Above all, have fun! We are so looking forward to this event. Tag us in your photos to be featured on our social media!
