🚨⚾ TAGS Night at the Pit Spitters Rescheduled

Hi TAGS Families,

Due to the hazardous air quality in our area, TAGS has made the decision to cancel our group’s participation in tonight’s Pit Spitters game.

While the Pit Spitters will still be playing their doubleheader as scheduled, the health and safety of our players, families, coaches, and volunteers is our top priority. We understand many families have already decided not to attend, and we fully support those decisions.

TAGS Night has been rescheduled to Sunday, July 26! We can’t wait to celebrate together under healthier skies.

There has been a change to tomorrow’s TAGS Night with the Traverse City Pit Spitters!

Tomorrow is now a doubleheader (two 7-inning games), so we’ve updated the schedule below.

• Meet at Guest Services: 5:15 to 5:30 PM
• 🇺🇸 National Anthem (on the field): 6:00 PM
• ⚾ First Pitch: 6:05 PM

🚨 TAGS Weather Update for THURSDAY 🚨

Unfortunately, due to continued poor air quality, the TAGS Board has made the decision to cancel all games scheduled for today (Thursday, July 16).

We know two days of cancellations is disappointing, especially during the final week of regular season. However, the health and safety of our players, families, coaches, umpires, and volunteers will always come first.

We will continue to monitor conditions and share updates about the remainder of the schedule as soon as decisions are made.

Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and understanding. Stay safe, and we hope to see everyone back on the fields soon. 💙🥎

Due to poor air quality and falling ash, the TAGS Board has made the decision to cancel all games scheduled for tonight (Wednesday, July 15).

The health and safety of our players, families, coaches, umpires, and volunteers will always come first.

We will continue monitoring the air quality and weather conditions for tomorrow’s games and will communicate any updates as soon as decisions are made.

What a fun night representing Traverse Area Girls Softball in the Cherry Festival Parade! 🍒🥎

Hearing the crowds cheer for our players, coaches, and families was such a special reminder of what this league is all about. This summer, nearly 400 girls are out on our fields learning the game, building confidence, making friends, and creating memories that will last long after the final inning.

Thank you to everyone who walked with us, waved from the sidelines, and continues to support youth softball in our community. We are so proud to be part of something that keeps growing, one player at a time.
