"Everything will change, and that is a beautiful thing." A lot of things are changing, and with change comes opportunity and growth. Look for the magic along the way, breathe, and remember you're not alone,

Blessed Solstice Tomorrow!

The Solstice Teaches Us

The Solstices teach us
that darkness comes,
that darkness goes.
The Solstices teach us
that light comes,
that light goes.
The Solstices teach us,
calmly, silently, to be
calm, silent. Learning.
The Solstices teach us
as we circle the sun
that everything flies.
The Solstices teach us
to remember the dark,
to remember the light,
to remember time.
The seasons. And love
as we circle the sun.

Today is Juneteenth, and we'd like to share a prayer.

Prayer for Juneteenth
Creator of All,
As believers in justice,
Woven into a single garment of life.
Making us one with the human family,
Let us rejoice for those who safely
passed through the shades of night
towards the daylight of freedom.
Spirit of all possibilities,
may we be blessed with true freedom,
Free of all oppressions.
Spirit of hope,
With grateful hearts
We lift our voices in shared solidarity,
Holding each other safe
In the fire of justice and the light of love.
Amen/Blessed Be

Juneteenth Prayer:
Spirit of Life,
We lift our hearts and intentions to you. As we commemorate this day of freedom for many, let us not forget the enslaved people in states that fought for the Union, who were still waiting for their freedom on this day.

May we remember the atrocities that brought us here. May we honor the courage, fortitude, and strength it took for enslaved Africans to endure these horrors and prevail.

We lift up both those who enslaved and those who were enslaved, as we, their descendants, seek to reconcile our past, live righteously and freely in our present, and protect our future from repeating these histories of oppression.

Ashe, Amen, Blessed Be.

"How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.:" - A.A. Milne

This weekend, we say goodbye to our beloved Rev. Alex Jensen as he embarks on a grand new adventure! We have loved the time we have had with him, his spirit, his creativity, his kindness and compassion, and, of course, his chocolate chip cookies. If you haven't had a chance to say goodbye or show your support, there are two opportunities this weekend. Check out our events section for more details!
