Last week at the 58th UNAIDS PCB we mentioned for the first time our new upcoming report, The Human Cost of Policy Shifts, measuring the impacts of US funding cuts on the health and well-being of people who use drugs. This week, ahead of the launch of the full report, we will be sharing the key takeaways from our survey.

The emergency is no longer solely a financial one. The downstream harms to the community are also quickly escalating. Today, we are observing the consequences of a year of service disruption, and the crisis is now transitioning to a state of emergency for the rights, dignity and lives of our community.

Stay tuned for more key takeways from our report all week, and for news regarding the launch of the full report. You can also read more here: inpud.net/human-cost-of-policy-shifts
