The Convention clinics and sessions were terrific.
And, in the words of Billie Idol, we cried, "More, More, More!" Ranging from a National update from President Gordy, the business meeting, Tacoma 2027 National Convention, 3D printing, Beyond DCC, making building signs from old photos, railroad changes in 20 year segments, NP passenger trains, or prototypical operations on your layout. Each stimulated and inspired.
A highlight, of course, was the banquet and our speaker Bill Decker. Bill related very interesting stories of his life and work experience and how those brought him to the version of himself he is today today.
Most days started off with an excellent breakfast at the hotel, good coffee, and invigorating conversations with other modelers.

Free tours are happening today at the Boise Depot! Take a ride up in the bell tower, visit Big Mike, and then join one of our free guided tours offered at noon or 1:30 p.m. All ages are welcome and no tickets required. The building is open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for drop-in visits throughout the day.

We had a terrific Oregon Rails 2026 Convention experience in Tigard. Well done to the organizers. Excellent clinics, layouts, and new and old friends.
3rd division represented quite well. Here’s a sample of our members in and around the convention.
It was a blast hanging out face to face learning from each other.
