The Gloria Center Seasonal Shelter opens at the end of November, but MCCAC is hosting our last monthly Drop-in Center of 2026 on Fri, October 30!

❣ Location: The Gloria Center (2505 W 7th St, The Dalles)
❣ Day: Fri, Oct 30 + the last Friday of every month from March to October
❣ Time: 9am-3pm
❣ What: A low-barrier space for community members experiencing houselessness to access basic supply needs and connect to services.

Services include a hot meal, showers, laundry services, basic needs supplies, and connections to community resources.

For laundry services, clothing must be dropped off before 10am.

Community members in need of resource connection, basic supply needs, and housing stabilization services can also visit The Gloria Center any time during typical operating hours - Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm and 1-5pm.

MCCAC is hiring Shelter Stabilization Staff for the Hood River and Gloria Center Shelters!

Positions available include part-time & full-time, seasonal & long-term, and all positions starting at $20.80/hour.

MCCAC Winter Shelter Info

Hood River Shelter (1733 Oak St) is expected to open Mon, Nov 16 for year-round operations.

The Gloria Center Seasonal Shelter (2505 W 7th St, The Dalles) is expected to open Mon, Nov 23 for seasonal shelter (until mid-March).

❣ Shelters are staffed 24/7 while open.
❣ HR and TGC Shelter placements are first-come, first-serve. There is no waitlist for these programs.
❣ Shelter guest intakes start opening day at 9am and from 9am-4pm every weekday after, as availability allows.
❣ Wraparound services for each client will be engaged after initial intake paperwork is completed.
❣ All MCCAC shelters provide basic supplies and connection to resources.
