It isn’t very often that a couple will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary! Harold and Ada Marie Haake, 75 years of marriage (on June 10). Zion had a celebration potluck for them this past Sunday. Congratulations, Harold and Ada Marie!

The Zion bell and vocal choirs met for food and fellowship last night to celebrate the end of their regular season. They'll be offering up special music this Sunday, Mother's Day, before taking the summer off. Come join us for some great music! 🔔 🎵

Each season of Lent, the people of Zion Lutheran Church in The Dalles participate in almsgiving — a way to show love and mercy to others — and one week in 2026 money was collected for the Chenowith Elementary School Booster Club. This week, the booster club was able to provide a nacho bar for 60 staff members at Chenowith — celebrating Cinco De Mayo! Thank you Chenowith Booster Club for recognizing the hard work and dedication of the staff at Chenowith Elementary School!

Zion Lutheran Church, ELCA, in The Dalles, OR is looking to hire two adults to love and nurture our babies and preschool children on Sunday mornings from 9:45 am to 11:45 am.
