We have several very faithful quilters who make quilts all year. They are blessed during a worship service in October and then they are shipped to Minnesota, where they are then distributed all over the world! This past Sunday, October 11, 2026, the quilts were blessed. It is a special and wonderful ministry. Our quilters would love to have others join them. They meet on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 10:00 am at Zion Lutheran in The Dalles.

🎶 Mark your calendars for Zion’s seventh-annual Reformation Hymn Marathon! 🎶

Join us on Sunday, October 25, from noon–8 p.m., for an afternoon filled with favorite hymns as various musicians and song leaders take us through eight hours of music and singing.

Come for a while or stay for all eight hours - everyone is welcome! Request a favorite hymn, sing along, and enjoy the music. 🎵

Any money raised through donations will go toward updating the sound system in the sanctuary.

Lots of music at Zion today!
Seven-year-old Faith filled in on organ, handbells played for offertory, and we had our first kids choir chime rehearsal! Thanks to all the musicians and parents and grandparents that help our youngest members learn to make a joyful noise unto the Lord!
